RETURN OF THE MANGA (2002)

A project developed whilst doing my second year of my degree at KIAD.

A project inspired by the Japanese Cartoon Figures known as Manga. This outfit is made out of a cropped short jacket printed with small square images of various Manga characters and a sleeveless garment with multiple layers of printed pleated pieces attached together.  On one side of the main garment it is all printed and on the inside it is all plain, representing the two personalities of the character
